Dual Education System – As Theory and Practicals Go Hand in Hand

Education is a process where a person is supposed to sharpen his intellect by acquiring knowledge, the best appetite for the brain. Education fosters human brain with knowledge to enable one’s overall development. Thus education plays a vital role in every one’s life.

Different educational institutions use different forms to deliver the knowledge in form of education towards its students. In the process of delivery of education some might use the theoretical approach while some might use practical approach. It depends on the institution and the student’s learning style. However both the methods are effective and helpful. Yet some educational institutions follow dual educational system.

Dual educational system basically involves the formal education in the vocational school or college and the apprentice in a related organization. In the period of apprentice student gauges all the challenges that come across his way and very well understands the technicalities he has to deal with in his due career ahead.

If you ought to be a doctor, taking the apprentice as a Doctor assistant in order to gauge challenges in this field, similarly if you ought to be a mechanical engineer, taking apprentice in a mechanical workshop or a garage enables him to understand the technicalities involved in the field. This approach of education makes us understand the theories on one hand while prepares for the competitive environment in order to shape our career on the other hand.

Dual education basically involves two sections, the practical or apprentice section and the theoretical or school section. Both sections have its own importance that helps in shaping up your knowledge as well as career.

Practical or apprentice section involves training sessions by the company for about three to five days a week. In this process the companies are supposed to provide the students with a proper set of knowledge that helps the students in his education process. The training may also involve practical workshops in order to enrich the delivery of knowledge. The distribution of time for the dual education may differ but the motive is yet the same.

The school on the other hand is allotted a formal time where students acquire theoretical knowledge in order to be formally ready for the real competitive world. The study time inculcated for the theories can be one or two days a week. The remaining part is practical where students encounter with the real time problems involved in their related field.

Dual education is actually advantageous as the student is already an employee so with the grasping of knowledge he experiences a growth in his own abilities. Thus this process is beneficial for both the company and the individual as company can continue him as an employee as he knows the company flow while the individual would continue in the company with the recognized atmosphere and form of work. Thus students are benefited with the education process right from the beginning.

Three Reasons Not To Fear Your Home Based Business Competition

As today’s economy is still struggling, many people are finding themselves too fearful to take their first step toward operating a home based business. They are afraid of many things, but one of the things they are most fearful of is their competition. They just do not think they could start up their own company and compete with a company that is already established and may be bigger. If you are too fearful to start your own company in your home, the following are just three reasons why you should not fear any of your competitors:

The main reason you should not fear your competition is that they will be providing you with the motivation to do better. When many people start a home based business, they often find they have difficulty staying on task and getting their work done. No one is hovering over them, telling them what to do, and, well, there really isn’t any personal punishment for not getting the work done (beyond the fact that you don’t get paid). However, knowing your competition is taking your customers away from you will give you the motivation you need to do your best.

Another reason to not fear any of your competitors is you can use their business to better your own. One of the best things you can do is evaluate your competition and see exactly what they offer and how they are promoting it. You can use your own company to fill in their missing gaps. By offering better quality products and services to your target market, you can be sure your competition is not going to stand a chance against your own business.

Last, you must not fear your home based business competition as there is always room in today’s world. The key is to not give up. You are going to have to work hard, especially if you are competing with a much larger company. However, if you take advantage of all of the promotional opportunities on the Internet, there is no reason why your own company can not be successful and make your own place in the world.

Below Market Value (BMV) Distressed Property For Sale In Spain

Seeing that, as reported by several individuals, the end of the distressed property market in Spain is becoming closer, Agents need to take quick action to acquire those profitable Below Market Value (BMV) bargains. There have been Below Market Value (BMV) property deals before. They are not merely a modern day idea, but the quantity of properties available at prices below actual true market value compared to at merely a discount on the asking price has been increasing as a result of the problematic financial position several property owners, financial institutions and property developers are in.Property investors were unable, at the peak of the property explosion in Spain, to make a distinction between simply discounted property and property offerings at prices below the actual market value. This is not the situation now while property investors hunt for genuine below market value property bargains in a depressed property against a setting of scarcity of investment funding.Treated as being at face value, BMV literally means that the property is being offered at a price that is less than the normal price for that type of property in the present market. So there is no necessity for anyone to be mixed up between BMV and property discounts. But in a depressed property market like Spain, BMV might be pretty misleading. Look at the hypothetical but entirely feasible circumstances of a specific property with an average market price of E1,000,000. An application is put forward to a property funding bank by a property investor and the bank evaluates the property not at 1,000,000 Euros but at fraction of this, say E0.9 million. The bank will then not loan this amount but only a part of this, say E0.7m. So is E0.7m the true market value or below market value? As the value of property is set not by the developer, but by the market place, the amount of the discount cannot be used to fix the ‘BMV’ value. The property is also valued by the funding banks and the lenders who then give a proportion of the smaller of their valuation or the sales price. The mortgage companies don’t want any risk. The funding banks and lenders have been applying discounts of as much as 30 % below present market value and many developers have been providing discounts of up to 35 pc since February of this year. The degree of discount made available by developers, banks and lenders additionally changes from property to property.A discount of between ten pc and 30 percent has already been applied to the house valuations that the Spanish bank Caja del Mediterraneo (CAM) has on on it’s books reported the international commercial director of Spanish bank Caja del Mediterraneo (CAM) acknowledging that property values have fallen.Weakening ValuationsValuation departments have been ordered by loan companies to pursue the basis that the true value is defined by the net price including discount. Developers are not prone to invest in new certified valuations for BMV deals. On the other hand, investment clubs have purchased many developments and instructed a valuation to show to promising purchasers that the development is on offer at a true discounted price.Ordinarily, overseas buyers are allowed to loan 80 percent, consequently they must have 30 % cash to obtain a house. (Twenty percent and 10 % closing expenses). Loan companies these days lend on the smaller of their own valuation or the sales price. Cash buyers are allowed to secure better prices and steer clear of finance expenditure and taxes.Active Purchasers Of Distressed Property In Spain. The the majority of energetic investors in distressed property for sale in Spain live in Spain, Russia, Holland, England and the Scandinavian countries.Several United Kingdom buyers understand this as a good period to buy new properties because of the permutation of low prices and high yields, while Dutch, Danish and Norwegians are extremely committed. They have the euro and their countries’ economics are in superior condition than Germany or France.Bargains in the UK, Portugal, Spain and Cape Verde from private property sellers, developers and investment funds are being developed by an International Property Adviser called Luis Teixeira da Silva. They are generally steep discounted deals, either from vendors who are unable to complete or developers who still have property that has not sold because of the slump.Venture clubs who can no longer afford to continue to own their properties are selling units to da Silva in bulk, occasionally including five to twenty distinct units. da Silva comments that there is only a tiny collection of investors of spanish distressed property. Every one of the involved purchasers are hunting for outstanding deals.Developers and some banks are utilizing a number of strategies to dispose of such developments, for example investment clubs, syndicates and BMV specialists, whilst others have a preference for auctions and estate agents. The dearth of finance also means that developers are becoming more creative and proffering investment incentives to buyers, specially to first time buyers. Developers are proffering gifted deposits. And banks are giving one hundred pc finance in selected cases to residents in Spain. This drives the market price down obviously. The lending banks are at this moment prudent to steer clear of the famous ‘hardselling’ agents who have historically demanded extraordinary commissions. This is the state of affairs at CAM, which uses a combination of its website and “a selective network of agents and venture groups” to market its properties.

Before You Advertise Know the Facts! Offline Advertising Vs Online Advertising

What forms of advertising are available to you in Cookeville? Should you advertise your local business Offline or Online? You can better decide that once you understand the buying process a person goes through before spending money on a service or a product. It could take days, even years for a person to go through this process.

Understanding this journey will assist you in determining what advertising methods would work best in spreading your message. We will be discussing reach and estimated cost between traditional offline advertising and Online Pay-Per-Click Advertising.

Typical Consumer Buying Process:

Most all consumers have the same pre-defined actions before buying Anything! Listed below are the purchasing steps people like you and I unknowingly use.

Potential customers become aware that they have a need, want or problem
They gather information about the product, service or solution that could possibly fix their problem
They ask their friends opinions, read customer reviews & consumer reports, watch videos and the list of fact-finding research methods goes on
Only then, when people have gathered this information, do they feel comfortable enough to make a buying decision. The information gathering phase accounts for roughly 95% of a client’s buying process. This leaves only 5% of customers ready to buy at any given time.

What does this have to do with advertising in Cookeville?

Simply put, the buying process is common to all potential customers. When you advertise your business in Cookeville or your Cookeville business to potential clients in Nashville or Knoxville, you must understand who your message will reach and when. Telling the world about your business is only effective if it produces a return on investment, Right? In order to produce result oriented advertising you must inform shoppers and provide buyers with exactly what they are looking for, giving them incentive to buy.

Offline Advertising

Advertisers in Cookeville can choose Offline Advertising in the forms of radio, TV, newspapers or other publications and billboards. Average monthly cost for these services when opting in for minimum exposure can cost you an estimated $20-$35 a day. That translates into an average of $825mo or $9900 a year.

These forms of advertising can take your message into Cookeville alone or to people all around the Upper Cumberland area. Constant exposure can brand your business by “keeping your name out there” in the community to shoppers and attract potential buyers along the way.

How it Works

Essentially it comes down to exposing a message or multiple messages to the people who read a particular paper or publication, use a common street, listen to the radio or watch TV in a predefined area or location. The goal here is to advertise to the majority and hope you catch some buyers along the way. In theory you are only advertising to 5% of the population for direct response.

Now, I understand, you are advertising to everyone in your chosen area, but only five percent of the given population will be ready to buy today. It is important that you position your ads in order to market to the all the potential customers that may come in contact with your advertising.

It is best to provide an informational message that speaks directly to the 95% of people who are gathering information about the products or services you offer. You will also want to provide your viewers or listeners an alternative message driven towards direct sales in order to support the cost of your advertising. This increases your exposure, branding your business by informing shoppers and giving buyers what they are looking for with good reason to complete their buying process.

If you are a small business trying to grow, you will most likely want to keep your message focused towards the 5% of the people on the verge of buying. Dealing with smaller budgets requires you to increase you odds for making sales and money immediately from your advertising. Although it will cost more than the estimate above, it is always a good idea to multiply these messages on different advertising platforms, including online advertising for maximum results.

As with most advertising, the more you spend, the more people your message is exposed to, the more your chances increase for making sales along the way.

Online Advertising

Advertisers in Cookeville who choose Online Advertising can advertise on major Search Engines, Social Media sites and on literally hundreds of thousands of websites relevant to your business. Average monthly cost for professionally managed online advertising when opting in for minimum exposure will cost you an estimated $16 a day or $492mo or $5899 a year.

Don’t have a website? You don’t need one! Unless you intend to build your online presence for sales and branding together, then you will need a professional website. A fully customized, search engine optimized website will run you an estimated $1000. This is the real deal. Add that to the total cost and you are looking at $19 a day or $575mo or $6899 a year.

Online advertising does exactly the same thing as above, plus so much more. You can take your message to Cookeville alone or to people all around the Upper Cumberland area. Online advertising also gives you the ability to advertise your business to multiple cities of choice or entire states across the US. You can even take your business advertising global if you so desire. That’s not all, you can also add multiple ads or advertising messages whenever you want and target your customers with keyword terms so the right message is reaching the appropriate clients.

How it Works

Online advertising is most commonly implemented through one of many pay-per-click (PPC) programs. These programs are offered by the worlds largest search engines or websites. Google by far being the leader, Bing, Yahoo and Facebook are a few you can probably relate too. With the one time account setup, you essentially tell the PPC provider who, when, where and what.

For Example: Let’s say you own a lawn equipment business and you sell weedeaters, lawn mowers and leaf blowers. With pay-per-click you target customers by using targeted keyword searches producing as many ads as needed to get your message(s) out to the right people.

You start by building one ad for lawn mowers that will target anybody searching online for the key terms – JD ZX9 Super Model, zero turn lawn mowers and lawnmower shops near Cookeville. By doing this you target the 5% of buyers who are looking to buy a commercial lawn mower close to Cookeville. Next you place another ad about lawn mowers but this time you target customers looking for service. So your ad reads, “Get Your Lawn Mower Ready for Spring – Blade Sharpening to Full Service – Call Now for More Information.” You set it up so only people searching for the key terms – Lawn mower service, lawn mower blade sharpening and lawn equipment service see it. This ensures your getting the right message to the right people 24 hours a day seven days a week.

The cycle can go on and on to target weedeaters and leaf blowers as well. Before running these ads in what we call ‘Traffic’ you also tell your PPC provider to do a few other things as well. Things like only spend $250 a month or $8.30 a day, only show my ads to people searching for these exact terms and only show my ads to people within a ten mile radius of Cookeville, Crossville and Smithville. You have complete control over your advertising.

Drill down further and place ads like “Bob’s Lawn Shop – Lawn Mowers, Leaf Blowers & Weedeaters – 10% off Service During May” and place these ads on many other relevant websites. For instance, I send you an email asking you if you know of a place that sharpens lawn mower blades. You reply with a no, but because the conversation is relevant, your ad is showing on the side of the page and catches my attention. Or, perhaps, your target customer is looking on Lowe’s website at zero turn mowers and he spots your ad (like a billboard) on the side of the page and clicks through to your website. You could even set it up where they simply click the ad to call your business immediately from there mobile phone because you provide what they need today, locally. This is a great way to catch shoppers nearing their final buying decision through mass marketing. Keep in mind, there are no additional cost.

The Biggest difference with online advertising is you only pay when someone visits your website “Internet Store Front” or takes action from your advertisement. By targeting pre-qualified customers where they live (home, work, cell phone) at exactly the time they are looking for your businesses service, product, location or solution, you increase your chances of return on investment. This takes the “Throw it against the wall and see if it sticks” aspect out as well because you choose who sees your ad, when they see it and what information they get when they take action. The best part is you can collect data by tracking conversions and begin to filter out what doesn’t work and build upon the target markets that are producing revenue for your business.

The Finer Points of Internet Auctions

WHAT IS A PENNY AUCTION?

Penny auctions have exploded in popularity with the massive growth of the internet. However, few people know the true origins of penny auctions.Beginnings actually stretch back to the Great Depression. Those were hard times for everyone, but even harder for farmers. Farmers struggled to bring in steady income because of droughts and crops not selling as well as they had previously. As a result, the banks would foreclose on the farmers who couldn’t keep up with their mortgage payments.

The banks weren’t satisfied with just repossessing the house, they wanted to raise as much capital as possible, so they resorted to selling off the possessions of the owners of the repossessed houses. There was not much the farmers could do about it so they began bidding ridiculously low prices, pennies, on the items while threatening others who dared to bid higher than a few pennies.

The auctions of today hardly resemble their tremulous beginnings. Being part of a penny auction today is exhilarating, fun, and addictive. It combines the selling format of auctioning with a little bit of chance factored in.Auctions are a game of strategy but also a game of luck.

The premise behind penny auctions is giving people the chance to win an item at a drastically reduced price.Auctions make that possible by spreading out the cost of the product among multiple bidders. In order for a person to take part in an auction, they must pay a set price for each bid. For example, if a person wanted to bid on a fifty dollar Amazon gift card then he would spend a dollar for each time a bid placed. If he ended up winning the gift card, then he would only have spent a few dollars for a fifty dollar gift card. Usually penny auctions sell bids in packages.

HOW PENNY AUCTIONS WORK!

The main foundation of penny auctions is the pay-per-bid format. It is the key that allows bidders to win items at the fraction of their retail value and allows the auction owners to keep their site profitable. Most y auction sites run on the same premise: people pay a set amount for each bid, whenever a person places a bid within the closing seconds of the auction time will be added, the last person left with a unique bid after the clocks runs out will win the item. There are a large variety of items that can be won, but they tend to be popular electronics or gift cards to popular stores.

There are two types of auctions: lowest unique bid auction and highest unique bid auction. Lowest unique auction sounds confusing but it is actually quite simple. A unique bid is when only one person has a bid at a certain price. Bids usually start at one penny, a bidder can then place a bid at two pennies. Until another bidder places a higher bid, the most recent bidder will be the lowest unique bid because that was the only bid at two cents and nobody bid higher. However, penny auctions generally don’t stop at one penny. It is not uncommon to find auctions that end up at a couple hundred dollars based on the popularity of the item being auctioned. However, the same principles apply for those auctions. Highest unique bid auctions follow the more traditional auction format such as eBay. The person with the highest bid at the end of the auction wins the item.

Auction site owners turn a profit by selling bids. Say twenty people are bidding on a ten dollar gift card at one dollar per bid, at the end of the auction if there were twenty bids placed in total then the site owner would have made twenty dollars with a ten dollar profit.Auctions do seem like a win-win situation:The site owner makes money while the bidder gets an item for dirt cheap. However, not everyone wins in penny auctions. The people who paid one dollar each bid but left with nothing to show for their investments will not be so happy.

HOW TO WIN!

Penny auction has a lot of chance mixed into it, but one can incorporate strategy that will help raise the chances of winning. Playing smart can make all the difference between gambling and auctioning.

The first crucial tip to winning penny auctions is to know how to manage your bids. Your goal should be to win as much as possible without spending a ton of money buying bids. Managing your bids means that you should already know how much you are willing to risk in order to win an item. The amount of capital you are willing to risk will determine how many bids you can use. Once you know how many bids you have to spend on an item, then you will be better able to manage how and when you place a bid. That will keep you from blowing away all of your bids in the first few seconds of the auction.

The next tip is to practice time management. When fighting in the trenches of penny auctions, you have two enemies: other bidders and time. Knowing when to bid is a must if you want to have success. Placing a bid when there is a lot of time left on the clock is never a good idea. You have to remember that the key to winning a penny auction is being the last one standing when the clock runs out and that each bid increases the amount of time left. It would be a good practice to wait until the last few minutes of the auction before you begin to bid.

The final tip for successful auctioning is to keep your emotions under control.Auctions have a lot of similarities to gambling, and just like gambling, your spending can get out of control. If you keep your emotions level, it will keep you from making rash decisions and blowing loads of cash. Keep your mind clear so that you can gage the behavior of the other bidders and outsmart them.

HOW TO AVOID SCAM SITES!

Penny auctions are a great addition to the web whether you want to win an item that otherwise you wouldn’t be able to afford or if you simply enjoy the thrill that comes with bidding in auctions. Unfortunately, scam sites have tarnished the reputation of the legitimate penny auction sites. However, there are ways that you can protect yourself from scamers and enjoy your auctioning without having to worry about losing your money due to dishonesty.

Checking the reputation of the auction site before you start spending your hard earned money is always a good idea. Chances are other people have tried the site before you and some of them have left reviews. The reviews are your way to gage whether a auction site is trustworthy or not. If a site is getting overwhelmingly negative reviews, then that is a clear indication that you should steer your business elsewhere.

Another tool you can use to protect yourself is checking the Alexia ranks of the auction sites. Alexia rank will give a solid view of how much traffic the auction is getting. If you see a huge difference in the amount of traffic Alexia is projecting and the amount of active bidders on the site, then warning signals should be ringing in your head. Some auction sites have been known to set up robots that automatically bid on projects in order to keep the auction going and inflate the price. That is known as shill bidding. You can sniff out those sites by comparing the traffic the site should be getting to the amount of users using this site.

CONCLUSION!

New legislation may come out later down the road that will officially make penny auctions gambling, but until then, it is a fun, exciting auction that allows one to win the item they’ve always wanted but couldn’t afford.Auctions are also quite lucrative for the site owners because of the pay-per-bid strategy they’ve incorporated. Penny auctions had humble beginnings with farmers who just wanted to get back at the banks who kicked them out of their house. More recently, auctions have enjoyed an explosion in popularity with the rise of the internet.

There are two main formats fora auctions, lowest and highest unique auction, however they both run on the same premise where the last unique bid wins the item. Winning a penny auction will require a certain amount of mental tactic and a bit of luck. However, you can increase your odds of winning by practicing certain techniques such as managing your bids wisely, learning how to work with the time, and keeping a level head and your emotions under control. When you combine those three strategies to your bidding plan, you will find that you win a lot more often.

It is important that you do your due diligence to protect yourself when participating in auctions. Not every auction is run by honest and trustworthy people. There are people out there who just want to take your money. You can protect yourself by ensuring that you only bid on sites that already have a very positive reputation from real users.

How to Find Great Live Auctions for Resale Items

Hi, my name is Walt. I’m an auctioneer with 25 years of experience in the auction business and licensed in the state of MA. I own Quick Auction Service, a company that specializes in building and running custom auctions, I’m also the webmaster of my own site and have been on eBay for 8 years. Besides eBay, the types of auctions I run most frequently are antiques and on-site estate auctions, although I’ve run everything from business overstock auctions to charity & special event auctions.

I enjoy sharing my knowledge and stories of the auction business. My goal for article is to help folks get the absolute most out of their auction experience.

Whether your fresh out of the package or a seasoned dealer I think I can offer something in this article to help you with your auciton adventures.

There may be as many reasons to attend auctions as there are types of auctions to attend. Maybe you want to attend an auction to buy items for re-sale on eBay, or some other market. Maybe you want to furnish your home with wonderful antiques, or you want to furnish your home as inexpensively without sacrificing quality. Some folks are just looking for a fun night out. With a little perseverance all these things are possible.

There are antiques and estate auctions, auto auctions, overstock auctions, absolute and no reserve auctions, real estate auctions, specialty auctions where only one genre of items are sold, tailgate auctions, live auctions, online auctions, sealed bid auctions, silent auctions, charity and fund raising auctions and many more.

Can you really buy for pennies on the dollar at an auction? You bet! Many times I’ve seen folks buy and re-sell at the same auction on the same night for a good profit, although be advised, this should only be done after the auction is over.

There are a lot of ways to find an auction, but here are some tips on how to find and attend the best ones.

Visit the genre of shops in the area that apply to the type of auction you want to attend. IE: If your looking for a good antique auction to attend, stop in the local antiques shops and ask for what there are for good auctions in the area. Sounds obvious right? But listen to what they don’t say as well as what they do say. Oftentimes when a dealer speaks poorly about an auction he or she attends, it may be likely that they are trying to keep a good thing secret. Think for a moment, why would a dealer keep attending a lousy auction?

Newspaper ads: I personally like to find ads in the classified ad section rather than flashy display ads. Flashy ads are usually indicative of an auction that will be high priced, may have reserves, (a set price on an item), and usually an enormous crowd. While any auction can be profitable to attend, it is usually best to steer clear of the glitzy ones, at least for the beginner.

Here’s the minimum you want to find out before you go. If there is a phone number in the ad, call and ask for the terms of the sale. What forms of payment do they accept? Is it an absolute auction? An absolute auction is one that has no minimum or reserve bids on items. These are the best auctions to attend! Is there a buyers premium? A buyers premium is like a tax that everyone who makes purchases at that auction must pay above the winning bid price. Most auctions these days do charge a buyers premium, 10% is not unreasonable but I feel much more than that is greedy, and the auctioneer that charges over 10% is counting on most bidders not doing the extra math as the bids quicken in pace.

A fair auction will have ample time to inspect the merchandise, usually at least 2 or 3 hours. Find out when inspection starts and make sure to attend! Never attend an auction if you can’t make the inspection, not unless your prepared to gamble. Most auctioneers sell at a rate of about 100 items per hour, which is why they sell “as is”. They simply don’t have the time to give a detailed description of all the items. Since almost all items at auction are sold AS IS, there are sure to be some damaged, refinished, fake and incomplete items at any given auction. Beware of any auctions that offer very little or no inspection time.

Good auctions will usually have 150 to 400 lots. A lot may be one item or a group of items. The exception to this are specialty auctions, auto auctions, real estate auctions etc.

When you attend your first sale, take note of the 1/2 dozen or so dealers that buy the most often. See if you can find out about other area auctions they attend.

When you do find an excellent auction, attend it as often as possible. By frequenting good sales, you help increase the bottom line of that business. It’s difficult for many auctioneers to keep the quality of merchandise consistent, so good attendance certainly helps. And when an auctioneer gets to know you as a buyer, he/she will go out of the way to accommodate you, to keep you coming back.
